Toru Takemitsu - Flute Music
Classical Connection reader OZtransgressions sent me a ton of Takemitsu. Unfortunately, of those he sent, only Flute Music appears to be out of print. Ripped at 320kbps.Flute Music (part 1)

Ya know, we don't MIND if you post some not OOP Classical Music...it's okay with us, we'll deal with it... :-P
Thanks so much for this! I loved Takemitsu's film music..than I bought his 'Garden Rain', still not sure what to think of it, very soundscapey, but I'm sure if I give him some more time I'll love him even more.
Thanks!
I think I PERSONALLY might change the policy to recordings which are OOP, rare, OR overly expensive... about 25 USD and up.
this looks amazing. favorite instrument by one of favorite composers... thank you.

If you have the time or inclination ...
Do you have / would you like Iwaki conducting MSO? It's very difficult to find but an excellent recording of Takemitsu's orchestral works. Just leave a message here.
Tōru Takemitsu was a Japanese composer and writer on aesthetics and music theory. Largely self-taught, Takemitsu possessed complete skill in the subtle manipulation of instrumental and orchestral timbre.
